Chicken & Broad Beans Recipe with Peas & Basil

Ingredients

1 chicken breast
1 tbsp peas (fresh or frozen)
1 tbsp broad beans (fresh or frozen)
1 small handful of basil

Method

Step 1

Cut the chicken into pieces and pan fry with a little olive oil until the chicken is cooked and the juices run clear. Meanwhile, cook the peas and beans in a pan of simmering water until they are tender, then remove the tough skins from the broad beans.

This is one of our favourite baby broad bean recipes as you can easily adapt it to your little one's needs. Add a little water or full fat milk if the texture is too thick. For a smoother first baby beans recipe, blend the mixture using a hand blender until the desired texture is reached.

Place all the ingredients into a bowl with the basil. Use a fork to mash the ingredients together.
