Oaty Gummy Baked Apples

Ingredients

2 eating apples
1 packet Goodies fruit gummies, moos or stars (whichever flavour you prefer), roughly cut into halves or quarters
12g rolled oats
Small pinch of cinnamon (optional)
4 small cubes of unsalted butter (or dairy free)

Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F / gas mark 4.

Great served with a dollop of crème fraiche or full fat Greek yogurt.

Wash and dry the apples, then score around the circumference using a small, sharp knife. Remove the centre of each apple using an apple corer, then place each one on a small square of tin foil, wrapping it around the bottom half of the apple.

Mix the Gummies, rolled oats and cinnamon (if using) together in a bowl. Half fill the centre of each apple with the mixture and pop a small cube of butter on top - do the same for the other apples.

Place the apples in an oven proof dish and bake for around 20 minutes or until they are cooked through. Allow to cool slightly, then cut into quarters or eighths and serve.
