Being at Organix
We think that to do great work and for work to be life enhancing, you need to feel good and have time away from your desk to recharge your batteries.
We encourage people to go home on time and to take their lunch breaks every day.
We're also lucky to have lots of social space which is great for informal meetings and eating your lunch. Not to mention our garden where you can get a breath of fresh air.
We have a relaxed dress code too, so you can choose to be casual or smart – whatever helps you work at your best.
All of these things help us be the best we can in our very fast-paced environment.
If you're the sort of person who thrives on change, can be agile and creative to get things done and enjoys being challenged, you'll fit in really well.
Organix is all about the people who make up the team and our values and spirit are what make us different.
We wrote a little book so we could capture everything that was special about Organix – our values and why we do what we do. That way we can pass it on to new people who come and join our story.
We thought you might like to read it too.
What happens when you apply to work with us
Our interviews are held in most cases at our offices in Bournemouth. We don’t like to show off but they really are lovely and visiting gives you a good feel for what it’s like to work here.
First interviews typically last about an hour (depending on which role you have applied for) and it will be with the recruiting manager and someone else from the business.
What to wear
We're quite relaxed on what we wear to work but if you feel more comfortable wearing a suit that’s fine (but it's not obligatory). We'd rather you feel comfortable and not restricted by the usual conformances of office wear, but maybe pyjama’s and slippers would be a little too comfy! So this applies to your interview too.
If you were great in your first interview, we'll want you to come in for a second interview.
This talks a little longer, up to 3 hours, as you'll get a chance to have a peer interview with some of your potential colleagues, undertake some tests (typically numerical and verbal reasoning, and often tests that are specific to the role you are applying for). You may also be asked to do a presentation.
If you outshine everyone else and we offer you the role, we'll send you a pack that includes your contract, things you need to know for when you work here and an induction plan. This has details of all of the different people you will meet in your first couple of weeks so you'll have a really good understanding of the business and what everyone does.
