At Organix we work hard to make the healthiest foods possible for babies and children. Big companies often tell parents that they can't make foods that are lower in fat or salt or sugar. We make a promise to parents that we will always make our foods with the lowest levels of fat, salt and sugar that it is possible to achieve. To keep that promise, and to remind the big companies that when it comes to the health of children, there is no room for compromise, we regularly look at what else is on sale and compare their fat, saturated fat, salt and sugar levels to what we do.
Here's what we found when we looked at the top 8 best-selling savoury snack foods for children. The results are clear to see:
• On average Organix snacks contain one half (1/2) the level of fat.
• Less than one third (1/3) the level of saturated fat.
• Less than one third (1/3) the level of sodium and salt.Organix is the only brand that explains to parents what the level of salt is compared to sodium.
